1 Acceptance of risk

By using REBIND’s Services, including the Website, Application, or related tools, You act entirely at Your own risk. REBIND disclaims all liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.

2 Core risk factors

2.1 Risks associated with the User’s Personal Smart Account

Any third party that obtains access to the User’s personal Smart Account‘s private key or recovery credentials may be able to use the User’s Digital Assets. To minimize this risk, Users must protect themselves against people gaining unauthorized access to their electronic devices and safeguard any recovery methods.

2.2 Legal risk and risk of adverse regulatory intervention in one or more jurisdictions

The operation of the Services may be impacted by the passing of restrictive laws, the publication of restrictive or negative opinions, the issuing of injunctions by national regulators, the initiation of regulatory actions or investigations, including but not limited to restrictions on the use or ownership of Digital Assets which may prevent or limit the development of the Services.

Given the lack of Digital Assets qualifications in most countries, each User is strongly advised to carry out a legal and tax analysis concerning the use of the Services according to the laws applicable to their nationality and place of residence.

2.3 Risk of theft and piracy

Hackers or other malicious or criminal groups or organizations may attempt to interfere with the Website and the Application or the availability of the Services in several ways including, but not limited to, denial of service attacks, Sybil attacks, mystification, surfing, malware attacks, or consensus-based attacks.

2.4 Risk of security weaknesses in the Website’s and Application’s core infrastructure software

There is a risk of weaknesses or bugs in the core infrastructure elements of the Website and the Application, thereby interfering with the use of the Services.

2.5 Risk of weakness or exploitable breakthrough in the field of cryptography

Advances in cryptography, or technical advances such as the development of quantum computers, may present risks for Digital Assets and the Website and the Application.

2.6 Risk of winding-up of REBIND’s project

Even though Users always have access to their funds, for several reasons including, but not limited to, an unfavorable fluctuation in digital asset market value, the failure of business relationships or competing intellectual property claims, REBIND’s project may no longer be a viable activity and may be dissolved.

2.7 Risk of malfunction on the Website, the Application and Services

The Website, the Application and Services may be impacted by an adverse malfunction including, but not limited to, a malfunction that results in the loss of market information.

2.8 Unforeseen risks

Digital Assets are a new and untested technology. In addition to the risks stipulated above, there are other risks that REBIND’s team cannot predict. Risks may also arise out of and/or occur as unanticipated combinations or as changes in the risks stipulated herein.
